The Two Oldest Americans, Dina Manfredini And Mamie Reardon, Passed Away Within Sixteen Days Of Each Other

My Friends: I have very sad news for you. Within sixteen days, we lost two Super-Centenarians: Dina Manfredini, who was born in the year 1897, and Mamie Reardon, who was born in the year 1898.

115-year-old Dina Manfredini, held the title of The Oldest Person In The World when she passed away on December 17, 2012. She was the Planet's Oldest Resident for two weeks and was one of only three people alive who were born in the year 1897. Dina also holds the distinction of being the Oldest Italian-Born Person Ever. Mamie Rearden, The Oldest Woman In America, passed away at the age of 114 on January 2, 2013.
