Saraswati Puja Held On February 8, 2011

Saraswati Puja ... it is time to honor and revere and praise The Goddess (Devi in Sanskrit) of wisdom, learning, knowledge, consciousness, music and the arts. Her name is also spelled Sarasvati. She is not as elaborately dressed and adorned with as many jewels as other Goddesses because She values knowledge over what is worldly or materialistic and Her outfits are almost always white - a sign of purity and true knowledge.

This is a smaller Shrine/Altar since I mainly wanted to focus on posters - you will note the An Om and
Swastika Symbols are featured quite prominently on the poster to the left ...
