The 111th Birth Anniversary Of Frank Woodruff Buckles And America's First Year Without Any Veterans Of World War I

Today is the 111th Birth Anniversary of Frank Woodruff Buckles, America's Last Veteran of World War I. 2012 marks the first year that Frank is not with us. He passed away at the age of 110 on February 27 of last year. Gone but certainly not forgotten ... the last of the Doughboys will live on in our hearts forever!
