A Greek Old Testament From The Year 1653

I felt compelled to go into the archives and find a fine item to spotlight. This is what I decided to showcase. Here is an incomplete copy of a Greek Old Testament (Vetus Testamentum Græcum), also known as The Septuagint (LXX). As you can see it is fragmentary. Only 58 leaves (aka pages) are present along with the Title Page and the covers/boards.

The Books contained within the leaves comprise ...

Here are some photographs ...

You will note a lot of writing on the Title Page:

  1. UPDATE (July 22, 2024): My sister took this book fragment and threw it in a trash can outside. She had already been throwing a bunch of my stuff out (I continued to trash pick at my own place of residence aka my mother's house) and either denying it or acting as if the items were no good. I caught her in the act on this occasion, and, with no way to talk herself out of it, she told me that I need to prioritize. What could be more of a priority than a text from the 1600s? Imagine if someone who was putting on a history event asked me to bring this, and I could not find it, had I not trash picked it, because of what she did. What a stupid moron she is. By the way, google is blocking me from getting into my blog so I made another one: https://michael-the-researcher.blogspot.com
